In addition to traditional accounting financial reporting and tax services, we also perform a variety of specialized advisory services for our restaurant clients.  Such services include but are not limited to the following:

  • Review of restaurant systems of internal accounting control and operational practices.
  • Comparative analyses of restaurant results of operations with both national studies and area operating data.
  • Valuation of restaurant operations on a going concern basis utilizing various “Income Approach” methods.
  • Feasibility studies for prospective restaurant developments, including site and market reviews and financial projections.
  • Interpretation of recent legislative developments impacting restaurants from both a tax and operational aspect.

Our financial reports are prepared in accordance with the “Uniform System of Accounts for Restaurants” which allows for meaningful management analysis and comparison of any restaurant’s operating results with other restaurants and national studies.

Most of our work is normally performed at a client’s restaurant facility to allow us to access the records and to observe operations.

We are familiar with many of the property management systems currently being utilized by restaurants including point of sale and back office applications.
